Are you ready, class of 2024?
Graduation Day: May 8, 2024 | Deadline to order caps and gowns at the Campus Store is March 17, 2024
This is the ceremony for 2024 graduates. If you would like to "walk" in the ceremony, all of your bills to RCC must be paid, and you must apply to graduate.
Curriculum Graduates
If you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony, it is important to follow these steps FIRST.
- Potential graduates must log into their self-service accounts and apply to graduate.
- Next, look for an email from the Registrar's Office confirming that your application to graduate has been received.
- Your Advisor will then review your graduation application to make sure you are ready to graduate.
- Once your Advisor gives approval and tells the Registrar’s Office, the Registrar will then send you a confirmation email.
- Then, take the confirmation email to the Campus Store and tell them you would like to walk in the ceremony.
In order to participate in the ceremony, all graduates must wear graduation attire, including an official cap and gown (failure to do so may result in not being allowed to participate in the ceremony).
Estimated cost of cap and gowns | $35 (plus tax)
Please check with the Campus Store for the specific color of our official cap and gown.
Continuing Education Graduates
- Your Program Coordinator will review your graduation eligibility to make sure you are ready to graduate.
- Once your Program Coordinator gives approval and tells the Registrar’s Office, the registrar will send you a confirmation email.
- Take the confirmation email to the campus store and tell them you would like to walk in the ceremony and order your cap and gown
- In order to participate in the ceremony, all graduates must wear graduation attire, including an official cap and gown (failure to do so may result in not being allowed to participate in the ceremony).

College and Career Readiness Graduates

If you, as the graduate, need special accommodations during the graduation ceremony, please contact Cathy Esker at 336-633-0394 or cdesker@randolph.edu or Tara Williams at 336-633-0279 or tawil@randolph.edu prior to the ceremony. Special accommodations for guests will be provided at the venue on a first come, first served basis.
The 2024 graduation ceremony will be held at 6 p.m at the Greensboro Coliseum. Parking is free. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Graduates need to arrive no later than 5 p.m. Before you or your graduate attend, please review this list of prohibited items.
If you complete ALL REQUIREMENTS in FALL 2023, your degree, diploma, or certificate will be available for pick up at the Ann Hoover Welcome Center after Jan. 31, 2024. The package will include your degree/diploma/certificate and a coupon for a free official transcript.
If you complete ALL REQUIREMENTS in SPRING 2023, your degree, diploma, or certificate will be available for pick up at the Ann Hoover Welcome Center after June 30, 2024. The package will include your degree/diploma/certificate and a coupon for a free official transcript.
If you will be completing ALL REQUIREMENTS in SUMMER 2023, your degree, diploma, or certificate will available for pick up at the Ann Hoover Welcome Center after Aug. 31, 2024. The package will include your degree/diploma/certificate and a coupon for a free official transcript.
Photo Specialties' photographers will be at the event to document your special day. They will take individual photos of graduates as they are called on stage.
Photo proofs will be available online through Photo Specialties' website a few days after the ceremony. That website is http://www.photospecialties.com. (If you have trouble accessing it here, searching "Photo Specialties, Chapel Hill" in your favorite search engine should bring it up quickly.)
