Celebrity fashion photographer Lindsay Adler to headline return of the Jerry Howell Lecture Series at Randolph Community College

Randolph Community College is thrilled to bring back the Jerry Howell Lecture Series with a powerhouse speaker in the world of photography: Internationally-renowned fashion and beauty photographer Lindsay Adler. The event will take place Thursday, March 27, from 6:30-8 p.m. in RCC’s Photographic Technology Building.
Adler, a New York City-based photographer, has made waves in the industry with her striking editorial style and educational impact. Her work has graced the pages of iconic publications like Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Vanity Fair, and Harper’s Bazaar, and her client list includes NBC, Canon, Adobe, Profoto, Abbvie, Origins, and many others.
Named a Canon Explorer of Light and Profoto Legend of Light, Adler has also been recognized with the 2024 UN Photographic Achievement Award for her global contributions to the field. A sought-after educator and best-selling author, Adler brings both artistic excellence and industry insight to the stage.

The Jerry Howell Lecture Series honors the legacy of Jerry Howell, photography program co-founder and long-time chairman. This year's event marks the long-awaited return of the series and underscores RCC’s continued dedication to artistic and professional development. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
Now in its 56th year, RCC's photography program was the first of its kind in North Carolina and has produced many nationally recognized graduates, making it a proven leader in photographic education. Starting in Fall 2025, RCC will also offer a three-class certificate program in photography designed specifically for high school seniors. This program will provide early access to college-level instruction and a head start toward a creative career. RCC also offers two-year associate degrees in Commercial Photography, Wedding Photography, and Multimedia Journalism. These programs prepare students to enter the workforce with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of the business of photography. Graduates leave ready to work and ready to make an impact.
