College hosts successful President’s Advisory Council Luncheon

Randolph Community College (RCC) held its Fall President’s Advisory Council Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Pinewood Country Club, welcoming more than 80 of the region’s most influential individuals from industry, education, government, and private citizens. The event was marked by excellent attendance, vibrant discussions, and enthusiastic support for RCC’s recent accomplishments.

President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan delivered a compelling presentation highlighting RCC’s recent accomplishments and future initiatives. He proudly shared that RCC has been ranked No. 1 in the state by two separate organizations, unveiled an architectural rendering of the forthcoming Liberty Center, and provided updates on significant enhancements to the Emergency Services Training Center as well as the College’s 2024-2030 Strategic Plan.

 “The outstanding turnout and active engagement at our luncheon affirm our community’s shared vision and commitment to expanding RCC’s impact,” Ardalan said. “We have made remarkable strides together, and the praises we received today reflect the collaborative spirit that drives us forward. As we continue to advance our goals, we are grateful for the dedication and insight of our Advisory Council in helping RCC grow as a leader in relevant, career-centered education.”

The luncheon highlighted RCC’s recent achievements and ongoing projects, reinforcing the institution's mission to provide accessible, high-quality educational opportunities that foster student success and regional economic growth.

RCC Board Chair Reynolds Lisk Jr. gave the welcome, thanking those in attendance and congratulating Ardalan for being named one of the Triad Business Journal’s Power 50 Five to Watch.
