College welcomes community leaders at Business After Hours
Local business leaders, Randolph Community College Board members, state legislators, and college faculty and staff gathered on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at RCC’s Allied Health Center for Business After Hours, presented by the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce, RCC, and RCC Foundation. The event provided an opportunity for community leaders to network, discuss local business growth, and explore the latest developments at the College.
“We are proud to host Business After Hours and showcase our Allied Health Center, a hub for training future healthcare professionals,” RCC President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan said, noting that the College was recently ranked No. 1 in North Carolina by two separate entities. “We are proud of our Nursing program, which has a 100% pass rate on the first try of the NCLEX exam for four straight years and our Radiography program, which boasts 100% job placement.”
Ardalan thanked Sen. Dave Craven, who was present, for his support and that of other legislators.
“By bringing together business leaders, educators, and policymakers, we strengthen the partnerships that drive economic growth and educational innovation in Randolph County,” he said. “Together, we are building a more connected, career-centered community.”
Guests were treated to tours of the state-of-the art facility, which houses the College’s healthcare programs.
