“With a commitment to fostering local talent and addressing the growing demand for skilled truck drivers, this comprehensive program is set to redefine professional training standards,” RCC President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan said. “The program is designed to empower individuals with the skills and expertise necessary for a thriving career in the transportation industry. RCC is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of drivers who not only excel in their careers but also contribute to the safety and efficiency of our local roads.”

Danny Alsbrooks, a driver for SnK Trucking Inc. in Siler City, was hired as soon as he graduated in February.

“My brother put me up to it because he drives trucks, and he wanted me to start this career as well,” he said. “The program was really good; I really enjoyed those guys’ company. The instructors were marvelous. They put a lot of time in to helping us learn safe driving. I’m so glad I started trucking, and I’m happy RCC gave me this opportunity to us all.”

The 10-week program boasts a 100 percent graduation rate, 100 percent pass rate at the Division of Motor Vehicles, 100 percent job placement, low tuition cost, opportunities for job placement at local businesses, and three certified instructors with 110 years and 12,000,000 miles of safe driving experience.
